Oh, how the United Arab Emirates loves bespoke stuff! And Puma knows it too well. That’s why it invited various local artists and designers to let their creativity flow and develop a sneaker design that gets featured in a limited-edition collection. The people of the UAE chose the finalists – Hala Al Qasibi and Noora Makki, both students of the Dubai Institute of Design and Innovation. And they designed what you see here – the Puma RS-X 07 collection. As per the footwear maker, the limited-run design celebrates the culture and the country. Only 100 pairs are up for grabs, exclusively available at the Puma Dubai Mall store and the brand’s official website.

Eco-friendly apparel brand Pangaia opens a store at the world’s busiest airport

Pangaia, a premium lifestyle apparel brand with apparel developed of bio-engineered materials to save the environment, has made its first stride in the Travel Retail business. Ray-Ban Opens New Store In Abu Dhabi

Continuing its expansion in the UAE, Ray-Ban has inaugurated a new store in the nation’s capital. Located on the ground floor of Reem Mall in Abu Dhabi, the new outlet promises to offer buyers many options. The brand confirms that more than 400 unique styles, including some exclusive to the region, are available at the new outlet. Furthermore, customers looking to purchase prescription eyewear can utilise the ‘Eye Exam’ area. Regarding the theme, the store flaunts Ray-Ban’s signature grey and red colour combination. This new store opens after the brand’s Middle East flagship outlet in the Dubai Mall.

Ray-Ban launches new Reverse sunglasses

Ray-Ban claims to have turned the eyewear on its axis with the release of its new Reverse collection. The new Ray-Ban Reverse Collection comprises four unisex sunglass styles: Aviator, Wayfarer, Caravan and Boyfriend, all featuring a new lens that is completely reversed from the traditional convex to concave without sacrificing optical precision. Alternate materials, such as bio-based nylon lenses with 41 per cent carbon content and bio-based acetate frames with 67 per cent carbon content, have been utilised to produce these Reverse sunglasses. The new Ray-Ban Reverse collection will debut on June 15th, with pricing starting from around $180 or AED 660. The eyewear brand further roped in famed supermodel Vittoria Ceretti as the face of the campaign. “Our Ray-Ban Reverse collection is a true revolution in the eyewear industry. The concave aesthetic is enabled by a new proprietary technology which applies big data analysis into the lens design.
