Kleindienst Group to build floating residences and a Giga-yacht in Ras Al Khaimah

Global construction conglomerate Kleindienst Group has signed a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with RAK Ports to establish a maritime facility comprising floating residences and GCC’s first in-house built Giga-yacht in the emirate of Ras Al Khaimah. This mega shipyard will be divided into four sections with the first one christened as the ‘Viking’ section. It will comprise the design and construction of a 144-meter giga-yacht, the first ever of its kind to be built outside of Europe. With this feat, Ras Al Khaimah will become the fourth region after the Netherlands, Germany, and Italy, to be capable of building a giga-yacht. The second section, also known as the “Coral Garden”, focuses on a first-of-its-kind underwater living experience in the form of the Floating Seahorse Villas, the Floating Venice resort, the Floating Lido hotel, floating solar systems. The “Tug” section would be dedicated to handle the construction of barges, supply, and transportation vessels and “Ferry” for passenger transportation, fishing boats, as well as sailing and diving boats. Josef Kleindienst, Founder and Chairman of Kleindienst Group, stated, “We are extremely grateful to the UAE Rulers, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE; His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai; as well as, His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, who have created a business-friendly ecosystem for the enhancement of extremely innovative maritime, tourism, and hospitality projects.”
