Jaguar launches a limited-edition E-type ZP Collection

The Jaguar E-Type may have been the most beautiful car in the world for Enzo Ferrari though it was a revered motorsport winner during its hay days. The first E-types in the competition were produced under the “ZP” project name. To celebrate that glorious motorsport pedigree, especially the first pair of wins by the iconic sports car, Jaguar will be producing seven pair of celebratory continuation models called the E-type ZP Collection. Each pair of E-type ZP Collection will include a drophead coupe and a fixed-head coupe that gets comprehensively restored by the experts at Jaguar Classic Works in Coventry. The ZP Collection gets based on the specification of a 3.8-litre Series 1 E-type produced in the early 60s, featuring a 265bhp 3.8-litre engine and electronic ignition along with modern creature comforts like an infotainment system and Bluetooth connectivity for everyday usability. Each vehicle comes with a period helmet to match, and Jaguar extends this ritual by announcing a limited run of matching F-type ZP Editions reserved exclusively for the E-type ZP Collection clients, set to launch by late 2023.
