Virgin Atlantic Resumes Flights To Dubai

British carrier Virgin Atlantic has restarted flights from London, UK, to Dubai, UAE. The first flight for this winter season flew from London’s Heathrow Airport (LHR) on October 30, 2023, and landed at the Dubai International Airport (DXB). This seasonal four-times-a-week service until March 2024 will be operated on a Boeing 787-9 aircraft, featuring 31 Upper Class seats, 35 Premium and 192 Economy Delight, Classic and Light seats. Apart from that, each flight will offer 20 tonnes of cargo capacity. This should be handy for companies looking for a quick turnaround time for exporting or importing goods.

The scheduled departure time for flight VS400 is 18:30, while the expected landing time is 05:30 the next day. The return leg – VS401 – leaves DXB at 13:45 and lands LHR at 17:50 (all times mentioned are local). The return Economy fares start at AED 2,533.

Virgin Atlantic confirms that this particular service between London and Dubai will be ramped up to a daily service in winter 2024 (October 2024 – March 2025).

Adidas And Bugatti Create Limited-Run Football Shoes

What you see here is christened adidas X Crazyfast Bugatti. It is a limited edition football boot, with only 99 pairs planned. As the name suggests, the shoe has been developed on the German brand’s X Crazyfast laced boot with added embellishments in Bugatti style.

The highlight is adidas’ Speedframe sole plate technology that helps create a lightweight and rigid structure for quick acceleration. It also features mid-foot supports, a single-layer breathable mono mesh and a carbon-fibre inlay in the boot’s tooling. The semi-transparent mono-mesh material covering the mid-foot cage incorporates the Bugatti Blue shade.

The sides of the boot flaunt two phrases – ‘Impossible Is Nothing’ for adidas and ‘Create the Incomparable’ for Bugatti. Rounding off the flourishes is the Ettore Bugatti insignia across the rear three-quarters of the creation.

The adidas X Crazyfast Bugatti boots will be delivered in a bespoke box, flaunting a design inspired by the carbon fibre weaves. And to ensure that all enthusiasts across the globe get a fair chance of purchasing these boots, they will be auctioned through the adidas Collect 3 platform. The auction will run from November 8 to 11, 2023, after which all winners will receive exclusive digital shoeboxes. From November 13 onwards, those can be redeemed via adidas Collect for the physical and digital pairs. Buyers can use traditional currency, via MoonPay, and cryptocurrency to complete the purchase.
