Among the many orders that Airbus bagged during the Paris Air Show 2025, one was from MNG Airlines, a Turkey-based global logistics provider and e-commerce enabler. The two firms inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for two A350F freighter aircraft, and the development was released on the third day of the Paris Air Show 2025.

Inducting the latest cargo aircraft from Airbus will enable MNG Airlines to deepen its ties with the aircraft manufacturer and strengthen its stature across several key trade routes, covering Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and North America. The A350F will also bolster the logistics provider’s scheduled and charter services.

Currently under development, the Airbus A350F will offer a carrying capacity of up to 111 tonnes with a range of 8,700 km. Two Rolls-Royce Trent XWB-97 engines, which deliver up to a 40 per cent reduction in fuel usage and CO2 emissions compared to the previous generation aircraft, will power the A350F. Savings in fuel consumption are also due to the materials used in the aircraft’s construction. Airbus says the A350F will be 46 tonnes lighter than its direct rivals, while boasting the industry’s largest main deck cargo door.
