Airbus racked up several orders during the Paris Air Show 2025, including a massive one from Vietjet and the first ever from LOT Polish Airlines. EgyptAir, too, joined the bandwagon when it unveiled a firm order for six additional Airbus A350-900 aircraft. As a result, Egypt’s flag carrier now has 16 of the same type of widebody jet on order. The original order for 10 A350-900s was placed during the Dubai Airshow 2023.
At the Parish Air Show 2025, EgyptAir’s head honcho, Captain Ahmed Adel, reinstated the airline’s vision of providing a modern flying experience by purchasing next-generation aircraft. The Airbus A350-900s will help the carrier cater to the rising long-haul travel demand and support its mission of network expansion over the next five years.
