Soon after confirming a deal with Riyadh Air for up to 50 A350-1000s, Airbus signed an agreement with ANA Holdings at the Paris Air Show 2025. According to the paperwork, the European aircraft manufacturer has bagged a firm order for 27 single-aisle jets from the Japanese aviation firm. More specifically, Airbus will supply 24 A321neo and three A321XLR aircraft to ANA Holdings.
Of the 24 A321neo aircraft, 14 will join All Nippon Airways’ (ANA) fleet, while the remaining 10 A321neo and three A321XLRs are meant for the group’s airline, Peach Aviation. As a result, Peach Aviation will become the first airline in Japan to induct and deploy Airbus’ latest single-aisle offering, the A321XLR. With a range of up to 4,700 nautical miles (8,700 km) nonstop, the aircraft offers the most range of any narrowbody jet.
ANA has been a long-standing Airbus A320 Family customer. It placed its first ever order for the type in 1987; since then, the order book has increased and is now close to 100. Currently, ANA operates 33 A320 Family jets, while Peach Aviation has 36 deployed from the same family.
