UAE Gets A New Versace Outlet

The Mall of the Emirates in Dubai, UAE, is a place to find opulent outlets of high-end luxury labels. The latest to join the scene is Versace. The Italian brand has inaugurated a 270 sq.m. boutique on the second floor of Fashion Avenue.

Light colour palettes for the fluted walls, white terrazzo floors, and golden metal highlights on display sections make for a subtle backdrop. That goes well to showcase the vibrant creations that Versace is known for!

To hit the ground running at its newest outlet, Versace will showcase its latest collection, Spring-Summer 2024, along with the Ramadan Capsule.

Etihad Is The New Official Sponsor For Chennai Super Kings

One of the most celebrated teams in the Indian Premier League (IPL), Chennai Super Kings (CSK), has joined the wide bandwagon of sporting teams worldwide that Etihad sponsors. In other words, Etihad is the new official sponsor for CSK. The partnership was unveiled at an event held at Kalaivanar Arangam in Chennai.

Etihad’s branding will appear on the back of the CSK jersey. And the sponsorship deal goes beyond inking the name on the team’s outfit. For starters, CSK fans will benefit from exclusive Etihad deals. What those might be will surface, we assume, during an active IPL season.

Etihad Airways, the official carrier of the UAE, operates 165 weekly flights to 10 Indian cities. New flights to Kozhikode and Thiruvananthapuram were added to the schedule at the beginning of 2024. Later in the year, Etihad will increase the weekly flights to Bengaluru and Kolkata. The carrier also recently onboarded Bollywood star Katrina Kaif as its brand ambassador.

Textron Aviation To Expand Ties With Wallan Group In The KSA

Aircraft manufacturer Textron Aviation has announced that it aims to strengthen its relationship with the Wallan Group in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) further. How? By adding Wallan Group as an authorised service facility for its Beechcraft King Air range of turboprops.

For Textron’s Cessna Citation aircraft, the Wallan Group has been an authorised service partner in the KSA since 2008. Expanding the partnership will help the American firm provide better sales and service support in the country, where it aims to grow its customer base further.

Puma Suede Series Gets An XL Derivative

Among the most iconic sneaker styles introduced by Puma is Suede. The simple silhouette has garnered customers from graffiti writers to B-boy crews for years. Now, a new chapter unfolds for the series. Enter the Puma Suede XL. As the name suggests, aspects have been enlarged for those who like to make an XL-sized statement with their footwear. The highlights of the heavily cushioned shoe include a padded tongue and Formstrip, along with “ultra-wide” laces.

Puma says Suede XL “is inspired by the nostalgia of ‘90s and early 2000s skating footwear”. The derivative is available in an ‘Electric Blue’ shade, with more to be added later this year. Those interested can head to the brand’s official website. Alternatively, select stores and Puma flagship outlets have those on sale.

Lotus Hosts Emira Founders Appreciation Event In Dubai

Lotus Cars’ official retail partner in the UAE, Adamas Motor Group, recently hosted an event celebrating a successful year for the Emira sports car. Dubbed, rather unimaginatively, as Lotus Emira Founders Appreciation, the event was attended by over 50 first owners of the vehicle in question. That made the gathering the largest in the Middle East.

Lotus says the Emira sold well in Dubai and Abu Dhabi in 2023. In fact, both cities were among the top markets for the model. It has engine options – a 2.0-litre four-cylinder affair and a 3.5-litre V6. Weighing just over 1.4 tonnes, the Emira can hit 100kmph from a standstill in 4.5 seconds. Prices for the Lotus Emira start at AED 415,000.
