At the third edition of Icons of Porsche, which will be held on November 25-26 this year at the Dubai Design District, there will be a lot of, well, Porsches! One of them will be the new Panamera, making its world premiere. So, that is one car the world would look at very closely. But apart from that, here’s a list of models which will surely wow the onlookers.
The first is, of course, the Mission X concept. The hypercar, which first broke cover in June 2023, will have an excellent company. It will be flanked by three iconic Porsche models – the all-wheel-drive 959, the Carrera GT V10 and the 918 Spyder.
The next one is the regional premiere of the Porsche Vision 357 Speedster concept. Paying homage to the 356, the brand’s first production model, and based on the 718 GT4 e-Performance, it made its world premiere in July this year.
Besides those two concept cars, Porsche will also display the 718 Spyder RS and the 911 S/T.

After a four-year gap, British Airways will restart flights to Abu Dhabi. This route will commence on April 20, 2024, and will be available all year round. During summers, the outbound flight, BA73, will depart from London’s Heathrow Airport (LHR) at 22:25 and arrive at Abu Dhabi International Airport (AUH) at 08:30+1. The return leg, BA72, will fly out of AUH at 10:10 and land at LHR at 15:20.
Flight departure and arrival times at LHR during winter will remain the same. However, courtesy of daylight saving, those will move 1 hour further for AUH. The new flight linking England’s and UAE’s capitals will be operated using a Boeing 787-9 in the summer of 2024. Bookings are already underway, and those who get their reservations in before November 12, 2023, stand to benefit from introductory return fares, which start at GBP 449.
