Multiple global brands such as Crocs, New Balance and Sonra collaborate with the event

While shopping festivals and New Year celebrations comprise the most popular reasons to visit Dubai in December, the upcoming SoleDXB culture festival may add another feather to this tourist-attracting cap. This year marks the 10th anniversary of the SoleDXB festival, and a musician-heavy line-up starring Jorja Smith and Rapsody entails the organisers aim to put out an extravagant event. And adding to the list of attractions are a host of collaborations with legendary designers, leading fashion houses and sports brands to provide the ultimate culture festival experience.

Streetwear has been SoleDXB’s core touchpoint. Hence, this 10th edition will feature the first-ever apparel collection by event host Hassan Hajjaj called Andy Wahloo, along with limited merchandise featuring Jorja Smith. The event will also see global brands put up pop–up experience stores as well as a limited-edition sneaker collection exclusive to the SoleDXB event.

Also available is a 90s-style vintage R&B and hip-hop-styled collection of t-shirts under Jorja Smith’s banner. Only 200 t-shirts will be sold, making it a true SoleDXB memorabilia. Another brand showcasing a creative fusion is Wild Arab West (WAW), a platform launched by two Emiratis women to highlight the cultural fusion between East and West via art, lifestyle and entertainment.
