Oro Vento Parfum has opened its first Dubai counter, arriving with a full wardrobe rather than a single hero scent. The house takes its name from the Italian for golden wind. It opens with two collections, ten fragrances between them, and a clear split of labour: composition in Europe, assembly in the UAE.
What is Oro Vento Parfum?
Oro Vento Parfum is a Dubai fragrance house that works with European master perfumers trained in Grasse. Also, it sources oils from France and the United States, then bottles and finishes the perfumes in Dubai. The brand frames that split as the point of the exercise. It wants a scent language that reads as fluently in Paris or Mumbai as it does along Sheikh Zayed Road.
All ten fragrances are eau de parfum. The house says its formulations follow IFRA standards, with allergen information carried in its material safety data and EU allergen declarations. It also states plainly that it does not conduct sensitivity testing, so anyone with a known allergy should check the ingredient details before buying.
Who is behind Oro Vento Parfum?
Alwyn Stephen is the co-founder. The brand credits him with more than 35 years in luxury and niche fragrance, including distribution work for celebrity licences such as Kim Kardashian, Paris Hilton and Cadillac. Moreover, he brought in investors and perfume creators to develop, manufacture and position the house.
Stephen has said the intention was never to fight for shelf space alongside other perfume houses. Instead, he wanted something that felt like a journey, pairing Dubai’s pace with European craft, and a bottle people would actually keep out on a vanity.
What is in the Mystique Collection?
Five fragrances, all housed in glass modelled on the armour of ancient knights. The collection leans softer and sits at the more accessible end of the range.
- Noir Essence. Aromatic lavender and cardamom, into French vanilla and cedarwood, resting on dark amber and myrrh. The evening piece, and the one the house tips as its likely bestseller.
- Mystic Petal. Sweet mandarin and juicy pear opening onto jasmine and orange blossom, with French vanilla and patchouli underneath. Built for travel retail and gifting.
- Valor Mist. Lemon and rhubarb up top, lavender and patchouli through the heart, smooth leather and dark amber at the base.
- Harmonia Elixir. Bergamot and fresh sage, violet and lily, then vetiver and sandalwood. The quietest of the five.
- Elegance Bloom. Sparkling bergamot and mandarin lifting into white rose and peony, finished with delicate lily and musk.
What is in the Luminous Collection?
The same knight-inspired silhouette, a firmer hand, and a higher price. Luminous also carries the collection’s oud.
- Black Onyx. Orange and pink peppercorn, peach and tuberose, then amber, vanilla, patchouli and dry wood.
- Eternal Elegance. Lemon, mandarin, bergamot and moss, opening onto violet leaves, saffron and oudh, with leather, cedarwood and sandalwood beneath. The prestige statement of the collection.
- Imperial Shadow. Lemon, bergamot and tangerine, followed by ginger, patchouli and coriander, closing on moss, amber, benzoin and dry woods.
- Pure Radiance. Bergamot, ginger, and lavender over orange flower, tonka bean, and amber, settling into vanilla, cedarwood, and musk.
- Smooth Velvet. Citrus, geranium and pink peppercorn, then iris, rose, tonka and white flowers, over musk, vanilla, patchouli and sandalwood.
What does the travel spray collection include?
The purse spray edition draws entirely from Luminous. Each case carries a gold finish and the house’s knight-armour texture and holds two 10ml sprays. That keeps it within hand luggage rules and makes it an easy gift.
All five Luminous fragrances are available in the 2 x 10ml format.

How much does Oro Vento Parfum cost in the UAE?
Both collections run to 100ml eau de parfum. The five Mystique fragrances sit at AED 360 each and the five Luminous fragrances at AED 430. Travel sprays, which pair two 10ml bottles in a single case, cost AED 285.
Discovery sets are also offered in both collections: the Mystique version holds five 5ml vials, and the Luminous version holds five 10ml sprays. Current pricing for those, and for the rest of the range, is on the brand’s online store.

Where can you buy Oro Vento Parfum in Dubai?
Oro Vento Parfum is now available in-store at Burj Gourmand on Sheikh Zayed Road, and the full range is available online through the brand’s own store. Counters at Marriott Marquis Dubai, Millennium Dubai and the Ritz-Carlton DIFC come next, according to the house. The longer plan runs to department stores, perfumeries and airport retail outside the UAE.
Internationally, the house says its debut has included hospitality and press moments in the US, including an Emmy gifting suite and a Hollywood Hall of Fame appearance.
What is the IIFA x Oro Vento collection?
The house has also tied itself to the International Indian Film Academy Awards through an IIFA x Oro Vento collaboration. It leans on the same European composition and Dubai finishing but sits around the awards circuit rather than the retail counter. For a brand that already sells into a market where Dubai and Mumbai audiences overlap heavily, this is a logical reach play.
Ten fragrances is an ambitious opening hand for a new house. Whether the wardrobe holds together on skin is the part no press release can answer.
