Few manufacturers inspire devotion quite like Porsche. The 911 has spent more than six decades proving that an engine behind the rear axle is a perfectly sensible idea, the 917 and 956 helped define endurance racing, and models such as the 959, Carrera GT, and 918 Spyder repeatedly shifted the performance-car goalposts.

That sort of history has given Porsche one of the most passionate enthusiast communities in the automotive world, who continue to gather in both small and large numbers across the world. In the Middle East, the annual gathering place is Icons of Porsche, and Dubai, as usual, always does it big.
Icons Of Porsche 2026
Porsche has now confirmed that Icons of Porsche will return to Dubai on 21 and 22 November 2026. The upcoming event will be the festival’s sixth edition, continuing a remarkable run that has transformed what began as a regional gathering in 2021 into the largest automotive festival in the Middle East and one of the world’s biggest annual Porsche events.

Ticket sales will begin later in 2026, while the venue, programme, featured cars, guests and headline attractions will be revealed over the coming months. Enthusiasts can register their interest through the official Icons of Porsche website to receive ticketing updates.
What Is Icons Of Porsche?
Icons of Porsche is a two-day celebration built around Porsches: classic cars, modern cars, motorsport, design, art, music, food, and, most importantly, the people who keep Porsche culture thriving.
It is considerably broader than a conventional motor show. New production cars and concepts share the venue with privately owned classics, restored machines, competition cars, and individual builds. One section might contain a priceless Le Mans racer from the Porsche Museum, while the next could feature a locally owned air-cooled 911 wearing a colour that makes even Porsche’s Paint to Sample catalogue look restrained.

The festival was created partly to give the Middle East’s privately owned Porsche collections a public stage. The region is home to some exceptional cars, but many spend much of their lives tucked away in climate-controlled garages. Icons of Porsche brings them into the open, where enthusiasts can study the details, speak to owners, and appreciate how dramatically the brand has evolved.
Since its launch in 2021, the event has expanded into a wider week of drives, owner gatherings and community activities surrounding the main festival weekend. Previous editions have welcomed Porsche executives, designers, engineers and racing drivers, including Dr Wolfgang Porsche, Mark Webber, Pascal Wehrlein and Jörg Bergmeister.
The event also attracts established Porsche clubs and less formal enthusiast groups from across the world. It is one of the rare places where someone arriving in a brand-new Taycan can spend the evening discussing carburettors with the owner of an early 911, and neither feels remotely out of place.

From 7,000 Visitors To More Than 30,000
Icons of Porsche’s growth has been rapid. The inaugural 2021 edition attracted more than 7,000 visitors and brought approximately 1,000 Porsche cars together. Attendance more than doubled to over 15,000 people in 2022 before surging beyond 27,000 visitors in 2023.

The 2024 festival welcomed 28,000 fans, while the fifth edition in 2025 drew more than 30,000 visitors across two days. Tickets for both days of the 2025 event sold out before the gates opened, and representatives from more than 50 Porsche clubs and communities attended. More than 1,000 Porsche sports cars were displayed across a festival site measuring over 58,000 square metres.
Those numbers place the event well beyond the territory of a specialist owners’ meet. Icons of Porsche has become one of Dubai’s major annual automotive occasions, drawing collectors, families, casual fans and people who can identify every generation of the 911 from its rear lights alone.
Icons Of Porsche 2023
The 2023 edition marked 75 years of Porsche sports cars and the 60th anniversary of the Porsche 911. More than 27,000 visitors attended the event at Dubai Design District, where Porsche divided the festival into eight themed zones.
One of its biggest attractions was the first public display of the third-generation Porsche Panamera. The 718 Spyder RS and Vision 357 Speedster made their regional debuts, while the all-electric Mission X hypercar concept appeared alongside the Porsche 959, Carrera GT and 918 Spyder.

Porsche also unveiled the one-off 911 Turbo Remastered, created through the Sonderwunsch programme as a modern interpretation of the original 911 Turbo built for Louise Piëch in 1974. Then there was the giant red inflatable 911. Measuring almost 20 metres long, more than six metres tall and over eight metres wide, it earned a Guinness World Record as the world’s largest inflatable vehicle.
Icons Of Porsche 2024
The 2024 festival celebrated 50 years of the Porsche Turbo, bringing a selection of historically important turbocharged models from the Porsche Museum in Stuttgart to Dubai. The display included machines such as the 911 Turbo from the G Series, the extraordinarily rare 944 Turbo Cabriolet, and the 964-generation 911 Turbo.
The festival also welcomed reigning Formula E World Champion Pascal Wehrlein and his title-winning Porsche 99X Electric. Former Formula One driver and World Endurance Champion Mark Webber attended alongside Porsche ambassador Jörg Bergmeister, who also joined a 200-car community drive to Jebel Jais.

The one-off 911 Turbo Remastered returned to the festival as part of an RM Sotheby’s auction, while live art, music, cultural installations and community displays occupied the expanded 44,000-square-metre venue.
Icons Of Porsche 2025
More than 30,000 enthusiasts attended the 2025 edition, establishing another festival record. Among its biggest attractions were the first public appearances of the Porsche Cayenne Electric, Macan GTS, and 911 GT3 with Manthey Kit. These represented three very different parts of the modern Porsche range: an electric flagship SUV, a compact performance crossover and a road-legal track car honed by one of Porsche motorsport’s closest partners.
The Raceborn zone contained some serious competition machinery, including the Porsche 963 RSP, 911 GT3 R Rennsport, 917/30, 962 and 911 GT3 Cup. Sonderwunsch and Exclusive Manufaktur creations were displayed across the venue, including Porsche’s first Cayenne-based Factory Re-Commission project and a unique Panamera Turbo.

One privately owned 2009 Cayenne arrived after a rather committed journey of 34,000 kilometres through 28 countries, neatly demonstrating why Porsche gatherings are ultimately about owners and their stories as much as factory exhibits.
What Can We Expect At Icons Of Porsche 2026?
Porsche has not yet revealed the 2026 theme, cars, or featured guests. However, the trajectory of previous editions provides a good indication of what is likely to return.
Expect an extensive display covering Porsche’s entire history, from early 356s and air-cooled 911s to modern GT cars, electric models and SUVs. Rare vehicles from the Porsche Museum have become a regular feature, as have race cars representing the manufacturer’s formidable record at Le Mans, Daytona, Sebring and countless other circuits.
Major vehicle premieres are also likely. Recent editions have hosted public, regional, and global debuts, allowing Porsche to use Dubai as a stage for both its heritage and future products. With further details promised over the coming months, the identity of the 2026 headline car remains one of the festival’s biggest unanswered questions.

Beyond the cars, visitors can reasonably expect art installations, live entertainment, food outlets, family activities, merchandise, simulators, and appearances from prominent members of the Porsche world. Owner clubs and privately displayed cars should once again form the event’s backbone.
The scale may grow again, too. Attendance rose beyond 30,000 in 2025, the venue expanded to 58,000 square metres and tickets sold out in advance. Anyone planning to attend the 2026 festival would therefore be wise to register early and keep an eye on the ticket announcement.
Icons Of Porsche 2026 Dates And Tickets
Icons of Porsche 2026 will take place in Dubai on Saturday, 21 November, and Sunday, 22 November 2026. The exact venue, opening times, ticket prices, and complete event programme have yet to be announced. Ticket sales will commence later in 2026.
Enthusiasts can register their interest now through the official Icons of Porsche website to receive the latest announcements and be among the first to know when tickets become available. Clear the calendar, and perhaps begin practicing the difference between Guards Red, Carmine Red. and Ruby Star. Also, learn the words “the air-cooled era was better.” Might come in handy.
