What is GAIA Saint-Tropez?
GAIA Saint-Tropez is the brand’s newest opening, and its first on the French Riviera. This summer, it opens at La Tartane Saint-Tropez, a five-star boutique hotel in the 369° Hôtels-Maisons portfolio. Moreover, the hotel sits on Chemin des Salins in Saint-Tropez, between the village and the beaches.
The restaurant follows two rhythms. By day, it serves a relaxed, open-air menu beside the pool for hotel guests only. By night, however, it opens wider and turns to the flavours of Greece and the broader Mediterranean. Chefs Izu Ani and Orestis Kotefas sign the menu, the same pairing behind GAIA Monte-Carlo. Notably, the brand lists GAIA Saint-Tropez as a summer pop-up. So, this marks a seasonal arrival, at least for now.

What does GAIA Saint-Tropez serve?
The kitchen draws on Greek-Mediterranean tradition. According to the brand, each dish blends tradition and simplicity, rooted in Greek-Mediterranean heritage. The menu leans on seasonal ingredients and shared plates. As a result, the focus stays on flavour and the table rather than spectacle.
Who created GAIA?
Evgeny Kuzin and chef Izu Ani created GAIA in Dubai in 2018. From there, the concept grew steadily. Today it runs in Monte Carlo, Doha, London, Marbella, and Miami. GAIA Saint-Tropez now joins the list.

Who runs La Tartane Saint-Tropez?
369° Hôtels-Maisons owns the hotel. Additionally, the French group manages a portfolio of luxury properties across France and the Caribbean. La Tartane Saint-Tropez itself takes the form of a Provençal hamlet with a 1920s seaside spirit. Furthermore, interior architect Jordane Arrivetz arranged the small houses, which hold 27 rooms and suites across six houses with evocative names. Each one opens onto a Mediterranean garden. As a result, the hotel reads as intimate rather than grand.
Why does the GAIA and 369° Hôtels-Maisons partnership matter?
The two brands share an outlook. Both point to warm hospitality, Mediterranean living and a strong sense of place. Hence, the pairing reads as a fit on paper.
Also, the move reflects a wider trend for GCC travellers. Moreover, UAE-born concepts now appear more often in European destinations. GAIA fits that pattern. The concept began in Dubai and has since reached several international cities, with GAIA Saint-Tropez as its newest stop.

What does GAIA Saint-Tropez mean for GCC travellers?
Familiarity, mostly. Visitors who already know GAIA from Dubai, Monaco or London gain recognition on the Riviera. In turn, La Tartane Saint-Tropez gains a restaurant with an established international following. The two suit the GCC visitors who travel to the Côte d’Azur each summer.
Where does GAIA go next?
The brand keeps expanding. Beyond Saint-Tropez, it plans to open in Abu Dhabi and Bahrain. Meanwhile, the GAIA restaurant in Saint-Tropez adds to a growing list of international locations.
