Two investment firms – Qualcomm Ventures and Lingotto – have decided to back Ultraviolette Automotive Pvt. Ltd. – a Bengaluru-based start-up specialising in sustainable mobility and energy infrastructure – with investments. The new resources will be utilised towards increasing the brand’s presence in India and the subsequent expansion in international markets. Also, the funds will help bolster Ultraviolette’s technological capabilities. The firm’s first product – the F77 electric motorbike – is set to launch on November 24, 2022.
