Audi Introduces A New Base Variant Of The A6 EV
The base rear-wheel-drive variant is available for AED 251,000.
Audi’s early electric efforts have focused on crossovers, but the German luxury brand is ready to diversify its electric car portfolio. To boost sales of its stylish cars, Audi has provided it with a base model available at a competitive price. Through this variant, you can get a car with proven German engineering, luxurious lines, and a well-equipped cabin with high-quality materials.
The new rear-wheel-drive variant of the Audi A6 e-tron has 281 hp (321 hp with launch control) and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in six seconds.
With 800-volt technology and a maximum DC charging output of 225 kW as standard, short charging stops are possible with the Audi A6 e-tron.
At a suitable charging station (high-power charging, HPC), the Sportback can be recharged up to 260 kilometres in just ten minutes and the Avant up to 245 kilometres. High-performance and predictive thermal management make this impressive charging performance possible.
The total range for the A6 Sportback e-tron is 627 kilometres and 598 kilometres for the A6 Avant e-tron. The A6 Sportback e-tron is the most economical derivative of the A6 e-tron family. The Quattro variant has an output of 422 hp (455 hp with launch control) and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.5 seconds.
The A6 e-tron Quattro12 can be recharged in just ten minutes at an HPC charging station with a maximum charging capacity of 270 kW, giving the Sportback a range of up to 290 kilometres and the Avant a range of 280 kilometres.
Prices for the A6 e-tron models start at AED 251,000 or $68,000 for the Sportback, compared to AED 257,000 or $70,000 for the Avant. The A6 Sportback e-tron quattro is priced at AED 319,000 or $86,000, compared to AED 325,000 or $88,000 for the A6 Avant e-tron quattro.
