May 23, 2024, will see Korean carmaker Kia pull the covers off its new compact EV SUV, the EV3. But about two weeks prior to the d-day, Kia has now teased some exterior elements of the upcoming EV3. The images unveil a bold, sculpted and angular design for the headlights and taillights of the soon-to-be-released Kia EV3 and straight, boxy proportions for the rear fenders and tailgate.
Kia claims the EV3’s design stems from the same principles used to sculpt the brand’s flagship EV SUV – the Kia EV9. With the launch of the relatively affordable EV3, Kia aims to broaden the accessibility of electric mobility. Moreover, it expands the EV line-up of Kia which already boasts the likes of award-winning Kia EV6 and EV9 models.
