Say hello to Wild Vetiver by The House of Creed. It is a new fragrance that pairs the house’s signature vetiver with a fresh set of notes. The scent is woody, floral, and unisex. It also sits alongside Original Vetiver as a second take on one of the brand’s most enduring ingredients.
What is Wild Vetiver by The House of Creed?
Wild Vetiver is part of The House of Creed’s Haute Parfumerie line. The house classifies it as a Millésime quality fragrance. That is a French wine term the house uses for its highest-grade creations. As with all Millésime fragrances, The House of Creed blends it from concentrated infused oils and fine natural ingredients.
The inspiration behind the latest scent draws on the image of an English garden party drifting into the wild. In short, the house describes it as a fragrance that walks the line between refinement and nature.

What does Wild Vetiver smell like?
The fragrance opens with hand-harvested timur berry, bergamot, and pink pepper. Timur Berry brings a citrusy, spiced quality to the top. As a result, the opening feels lively and slightly unexpected.
Next, rose centifolia takes over at the heart, supported by geranium and blackcurrant bud. This mid-section adds a green, floral quality. It also gives the fragrance much of its warmth and volume.
Finally, the base settles into vetiver, cedarwood, and amberwood. For the vetiver, The House of Creed partners with a supplier that has been producing the oil since the 1960s. Beyond that, the brand works directly with cooperatives of vetiver farmers to ensure quality and traceability.
How does Wild Vetiver compare to Original Vetiver?
Both fragrances share the same vetiver oil at their base. Beyond that, however, they take very different directions. Original Vetiver leans citrus and fresh, closer in character to a classic cologne. Wild Vetiver, on the other hand, builds around fruity and floral notes. As a result, it comes across as warmer and more expressive. The House of Creed positions Wild Vetiver as the free-spirited counterpart to Original Vetiver.

What packaging does Wild Vetiver come in?
The latest fragrance comes in the house’s signature hip flask-shaped bottle, finished in an emerald green hue. On top of that, the house offers complimentary custom engraving on the bottle.
Alongside the main fragrance, The House of Creed has also released a limited-edition 5ml refillable travel atomiser in celadon green leather. Users can recharge it directly from the Wild Vetiver bottle’s spray. That makes it a practical on-the-go option.
