The new Skoda Octavia launched in the Middle East at AED 90,000

Enthusiasts rejoice! The new Skoda Octavia has officially arrived on the Middle Eastern shores. The new Skoda Octavia, a do-it-all premium sedan, features subtle exterior design enhancements, new technology advancements and eco-conscious materials in this new iteration. The new Skoda Octavia can be had in four trims in the Middle East – Essence, Selection, Sportline, and the range-topping RS for performance-oriented customers. Prices for the new Skoda Octavia in the Middle East will start at AED 90,000 onwards.

Skoda Octavia: Exterior Design

Skoda has instilled new design enhancements on the new Octavia. Second-generation LED Matrix beam headlights and striking new animated LED rear lights add to the visual appeal of the new Octavia. Customers would be happy to choose between a whole new portfolio for wheel designs which includes new designs up to 19 inches, including Sportline-exclusive Vega and RS-specific Elias wheels in anthracite. Further choice is extended on the exterior paint scheme with nine colours on offer. However, the iconic Mamba Green will be reserved for the Sportline and RS trims only.

Skoda Octavia: Interior Features

On the inside, a new 13-inch infotainment display makes its debut on the Octavia. Analogue dials get replaced by a new digital 10-inch display, a standard feature across all trim levels. Clever features like 15W wireless charging with integrated cooling, dual-zone Climatronic and enhanced keyless entry are present along with seat upholstery developed using recycled materials and sustainably tanned leather.

Skoda Octavia: Powertrain Options

Two turbocharged petrol engines are on offer in the Middle East with the new Skoda Octavia. The lower trims are powered by a 1.4 TSI engine delivering 150 hp through an 8-speed automatic transmission, ideal for smooth cruising and everyday driving. Skoda claims the 1.4 TSI can also achieve fuel consumption figures as low as 5.6 litres per 100 km, making it a cost-effective powertrain for family buyers.

The more enthusiastic customers would want to opt for the RS trim which carries the 2.0 TSI engine that produces 265 hp and 370 Nm of torque and gets paired with a 7-speed DSG transmission. The Skoda Octavia RS can do the 0-100kph sprint in just 6.4 seconds and reaches a top speed of 250 km/h. Racetrack-oriented features like progressive steering, a VAQ limited-slip differential, and a sport suspension lowered by 15 millimetres, can also be found on the new Octavia RS that encourage spirited driving.

Lukáš Honzák, Managing Director of Škoda Middle East, commented: “The launch of the new Octavia represents another important step for the brand in our Middle East journey. For the first time, we’re introducing new entry-level trims that will make the Octavia accessible to an even wider audience, including price-sensitive customers and businesses seeking fleet solutions. All without compromising safety, comfort, or design, something that will resonate with our customers here who value innovation, reliability, and refined European engineering. Meanwhile, at the top of the range, the Octavia RS continues to lead with its bold design, impressive performance, and confident drive. As a halo model for the brand in this region, the Octavia RS really sits in a category of its own.”
