The 2023 Emirates Dubai Sail Grand Prix will take place between December 9 and 10

Tickets are up for sale starting at $39

SailGP is the world’s most exciting racing on the water and is returning to the Middle East by announcing the Emirates Dubai Sail Grand Prix, to be held between December 9-10, 2023. With a returning season confirmed, the Dubai event looks set to become a regular fixture on SailGP’s successful global championship. It will feature close-to-shore stadium racing by SailGP’s revolutionary F50 foiling catamarans at other iconic venues worldwide – including Abu Dhabi, Auckland, Los Angeles, New York, Saint-Tropez, and Sydney among others.

Over two days and five races, ten national teams will compete for points, leading to the final showdown determining the event’s winner among the top three teams. Tickets are now on sale for the Emirates Dubai Sail Grand Prix and interested individuals should head to SailGP.com/Dubai to make a purchase.

Tickets start from $39 for the Team Base Tour which takes the visitors on an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of the ‘pit lane garages’ with a chance to see SailGP’s athletes and their boats up close. Spending $45 and above for the Waterfront Grandstand allows viewers to watch the high-speed water race action from as close as 50 metres away from the racecourse. Spectators in this ticket category also have access to the Race Stadium which contains a food and beverage zone, fan activations, and merchandise stands.

A special premium Waterfront Grandstand in partnership with Nikki Beach Resorts & Spa Dubai is new to Dubai offering spectators with upgraded grandstand seating with large screens and a premium Nikki Beach lounge to chill out. Visitors can further bring their own boats to watch the race at the best vantage spot right on the racecourse perimeter for prices starting at $450.

The announcement of Dubai – the sixth stop in Season 4 – will take the league to a record 13-event calendar, the largest in the league’s history. SailGP CEO Russell Coutts said: “We are delighted to bring SailGP back to the home of both P&O Marinas and Emirates, following our successful debut last year. Returning to Dubai will help to amplify our ambitions to grow the sport across the UAE, and with two exceptional partners now onboard we are looking forward to what the Dubai event can bring this year by welcoming even more fans to the race stadium at Mina Rashid.”

Following a sell-out first year, the second Emirates Dubai Sail Grand Prix sees the return of the presenting partner in P&O Marinas and the arrival of a new partner in Emirates Airline. The event promises spectacular stadium racing with Dubai-style luxury hospitality offerings by announcing a partnership with Nikki Beach Resorts & Spa Dubai to bring the latter’s world-famous celebration vibes to SailGP.
