The Lamborghini Revuelto serves as the primary source of inspiration for the design and overall character of the Ducati Panigale V4 Lamborghini. As Lamborghini’s first HPEV hybrid super sports car, the Revuelto has not only broken new ground in terms of performance and technology but has also redefined the very essence of high-performance driving. A significant contributor to this unparalleled driving experience is its revolutionary powertrain, generating a total output of 1015 horsepower through an innovative combination of a naturally aspirated 6.5-liter V12 engine, producing 814 horsepower at 9,250 pm and 535 lb-ft (725 N⋅m) of torque at 6,750 rpm, with three high-density electric motors delivering an additional 187 horsepower (combined), all managed by a cutting-edge eight-speed dual-clutch transverse gearbox and all-wheel drive system. The Revuelto’s performance figures are astonishing, achieving 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) acceleration in just 2.5 seconds and reaching a top speed exceeding 350 km/h (220 mph). Furthermore, Lamborghini’s extensive use of lightweight materials, including a multi-technology carbon fibre monocoque chassis, has resulted in an exceptional weight-to-power ratio of 1.75 kg/CV, the best in Lamborghini’s history, directly contributing to its phenomenal performance. The specific Revuelto model showcased alongside the Panigale V4 Lamborghini at Milan Design Week was a product of the synergistic work of Lamborghini’s Centro Stile and its Ad Personam customization department, highlighting the bespoke possibilities available to Lamborghini clients.
Claudio Domenicali, CEO of Ducati, further emphasized the significance of this enduring partnership, noting that the Panigale V4 Lamborghini represents a new and enriching chapter in the collaboration between these two icons of Italy’s Motor Valley, reaffirming their shared values of Italian excellence, sportiness, high performance, and distinctive design. He stated that the inspiration drawn from the Lamborghini Revuelto allowed for a direct and powerful association between the two companies’ most exclusive and representative models, reinforcing Ducati’s constant desire to offer enthusiasts unique, collectable machines of extraordinary beauty that deliver the most thrilling on-road experience.
The technical foundation for the Panigale V4 Lamborghini is the advanced Panigale V4 S, a motorcycle renowned for its integrated approach to aerodynamics and design, its highly effective aluminium alloy “Front Frame” chassis with optimized stiffness, and its suite of sophisticated electronic innovations, including Riding Modes, Power Modes, Race eCBS, Ducati Vehicle Observer (DVO), Ducati Traction Control (DTC) DVO, Ducati Wheelie Control (DWC) DVO, Ducati Slide Control (DSC), 1 and Engine Brake Control (EBC). The front suspension features Öhlins NPX 25/30 (SV) S-EC 3.0 pressurized 43 mm fully adjustable forks with TiN treatment, while the rear utilizes a fully adjustable Öhlins TTX36 (SV) S-EC 3.0 unit, both managed by the Öhlins Smart EC 3.0 event-based electronic damping adjustment system. Braking is handled by 2 x 330 mm semi-floating discs with radially mounted Brembo Monobloc Hypure® 4-piston callipers at the front, and a 245 mm disc with a 2-piston calliper at the rear, both integrated with Race eCBS.
To create the Panigale V4 Lamborghini, the design teams at Ducati’s Centro Stile worked in close collaboration with their counterparts at Lamborghini’s Centro Stile. This synergistic effort resulted in the creation of an unmistakable and exclusive livery, along with a series of unique design details directly inspired by the Lamborghini Revuelto, crafting an exclusive motorcycle limited to just 630 numbered examples.
The forged aluminum wheel rims of the Panigale V4 Lamborghini have been specifically designed to mirror the distinctive aesthetic of the Revuelto’s wheels, establishing a clear visual connection. Additionally, the tail section and the aerodynamic wings have been meticulously redesigned by Ducati’s engineers, drawing inspiration from the sleek lines of the Lamborghini super sports car.
The Panigale V4 Lamborghini is rendered particularly unique by its livery, based on the black color of carbon fibre with a visible twill weave, accented by vibrant Verde Scandal, Grigio Telesto, and Grigio Acheso details, and a dedicated seat inspired by the Revuelto’s interior, featuring Unicolor Leather & Corsa Tex upholstery with Verde Scandal stitching and profiles. The bodywork and other components, including the heat shield, heel guards, and front and rear mudguards, are entirely crafted from carbon fibre, utilizing the same weave found in Lamborghini’s super sports cars, with the characteristic herringbone design prominently featured where the weave intersects.
Equipped with an approved Akrapovic titanium silencer with carbon end caps and a dedicated engine calibration, the Panigale V4 Lamborghini achieves a maximum power output of 218.5 horsepower, a 2.5 hp increase over the Panigale V4. The extensive use of carbon fibre and the titanium silencer reduce the bike’s weight to 185 kg, almost 2 kg less than the Panigale V4 S, resulting in an improved power-to-weight ratio of 1.18 HP/Kg, making it the lightest and most powerful in the Panigale V4 family.
The specifications are further enhanced by a dry clutch, adjustable footrests, brake and clutch levers and counterweights machined from billet aluminium. Track-focused accessories included as standard are a billet aluminium racing fuel tank cap, carbon fibre brake calliper conveyors, a carbon fibre open clutch cover, and a license plate holder removal kit.
The motorcycle also features a plate on the engine bearing the Desmosedici Stradale name, a billet aluminium triple clamp, and a dedicated dashboard animation at key-on displaying the bike’s name and number. The exact number is laser-etched onto the aluminium ignition key badge. Each Panigale V4 Lamborghini comes with a certificate of authenticity, a dedicated motorcycle cover in a personalized box matching the livery, and is delivered in a customized wooden crate with a matching rear stand.
The Ducati Panigale V4 Lamborghini draws significant stylistic inspiration from the Lamborghini Revuelto, sharing its ethos and design elements like the livery, forged rims, and carbon fibre components. The showcased Revuelto featured a Grigio Telesto and Nero Noctis dual-tone exterior with Verde Scandal accents and “Ad Personam” customization, including Altanero Shiny Black rims and a lower carbon fibre livery. The interior echoed this with carbon fibre, Unicolor Leather & Corsa Tex upholstery, and Verde Scandal accents, including customized seats and hexagonal embroidery. Carbon fibre plates on the instrument panel highlighted the “Ad Personam” logo and the “Drive Ducati Beyond” tagline.
In addition to the 630 standard examples, Ducati is producing the Speciale Clienti series, limited to 63 Lamborghini customers, offering further customization to match their Lamborghini vehicles. Owners of the standard edition can purchase matching limited-edition helmets, jackets, and riding suits. Deliveries are scheduled to begin in September.
