Ray-Ban Reverse X Lenny Kravitz Capsule Collection Launched

The 2024 range also gets new colourways.

It was in 2023 when the Ray-Ban Reverse collection was first launched. As the name suggests, the range of eyewear introduced the concept of concave lenses instead of the traditional convex form. Now, new colourways have been introduced. Also, an extension of the collection, in collaboration with artist Lenny Kravitz, is up for grabs. The latter comprises two special models and a limited edition.

The Ray-Ban Reverse X Lenny Kravitz Capsule Collection ticks all the right boxes for efforts towards sustainability and style. The eyewear features bio-nylon lenses with a 41 per cent bio-based carbon content, bio-acetate frames with a 67 per cent bio-based carbon content and 100 per cent recycled polyester cleansing cloth with packaging. The lenses boast high-tech anti-glare treatment that can reduce up to 70 per cent of the reflections at sensitive wavelengths.

The trio of reverse aviators are available in three colours – black (EUR 215), chrome (EUR 235) and the limited-run gold-plated (EUR 500). Each one dons a Lenny Kravitz signature on the left lens, backed by unique packaging and cases signed by the artist. Already on sale online, this collection will be available via owned and operated EssilorLuxottica wholesale channels starting April 2, 2024.

The 2024 Ray-Ban Reverse collection also ropes in new colourways. These include a Burgundy washed lens in a gold aviator frame and a Blue washed lens in a black acetate wayfarer frame. A pair of rose-gold lenses wrapped in a silver frame is also available but exclusively at Sunglass Hut. The range starts at EUR 175.
