Kerzner International Holdings Limited has announced One&Only Courchevel, the brand’s debut property in the French Alps. Specifically, the resort will open in 2030 within Courchevel 1850. Historically, it is widely regarded as the pinnacle of alpine luxury.
The announcement marks a significant step in One&Only’s mountain expansion strategy. The brand opened One&Only Moonlight Basin in Montana just last year. Now, it is moving into Europe’s most prestigious winter destination.
Where exactly will One&Only Courchevel be located?
The resort will occupy the site of the historic Courcheneige Hotel, a longstanding address in Courchevel. The property will undergo a complete transformation. Positioned at the summit of the Jardin Alpin, One&Only Courchevel will sit above neighbouring properties with panoramic mountain views on all sides.
Additionally, guests will have direct ski-in/ski-out access to the Bellecôte slope. Therefore, they are at the heart of Les Trois Vallées, the world’s largest ski area. Ultimately, the location combines seclusion with connectivity, giving the resort both an intimate character and a central role in Courchevel’s social scene.

What will guests find at One&Only Courchevel?
The resort will offer a mix of guest rooms and suites. Crucially, each is designed to maximise natural light, mountain views and privacy. Moreover, the architecture will draw on traditional alpine language while reflecting One&Only’s broader design sensibility.
Meanwhile, dining will be a central pillar of the guest experience. Specifically, One&Only Courchevel will house a collection of restaurants, bars, and lounges that cater to the full rhythm of the alpine day. As a result, that spans slope-side lunches through to evening dining and après-ski. Furthermore, the culinary programme is designed to appeal to a globally discerning audience for whom social experiences are as important as the skiing itself.
Additionally, a large wellness sanctuary will sit at the heart of the resort. Facilities will include an indoor/outdoor wet circuit, thermal experiences, private treatment spaces and high-performance fitness areas. Similarly, recovery-focused therapies will sit alongside more holistic offerings. Namely, these cover post-ski muscle restoration, contrast bathing, sleep support and mindfulness.
CEO Philippe Zuber positioned the opening as a defining moment for the brand. He noted that One&Only has always prioritised creating resorts deeply connected to their destinations. The Courchevel project, he added, will bring a new spirit of alpine luxury rooted in the beauty and energy of the French Alps.

What are the One&Only Private Homes in Courchevel?
Alongside the resort, Kerzner will develop a limited collection of branded residences. Particularly, One&Only Private Homes in Courchevel are positioned as a rare ownership opportunity in one of the world’s most supply-constrained luxury markets.
Furthermore, each residence will offer access to the full resort lifestyle. Thus, owners will enjoy the privacy of a standalone mountain home combined with the full service of One&Only. Regarding this, Juan Aguilar, President of Real Estate at Kerzner International, described the development as a landmark opportunity. He also noted that Kerzner is acting as both the owner and the developer, reflecting its broader ambitions beyond hotel operations.

Why does One&Only Courchevel matter for the brand?
The opening signals One&Only’s formal entry into Europe’s luxury alpine segment. Courchevel already attracts an ultra-luxury international clientele drawn to its skiing, Michelin-starred restaurants and high-end retail. As such, it is a natural fit for the brand’s positioning.
Beyond the hotel itself, One&Only Courchevel will be the brand’s first resort to combine a flagship hotel with a major residential offering in Europe. Together, these two elements reinforce Kerzner’s broader strategy of building long-term value in high-demand destinations.
For now, further details on opening timelines and private home sales will be announced in due course.
