New York Auto Show 2024 is here again to show off all the best luxury, sports, and hypercars in the world

The New York Auto Show has always been one of the most anticipated of the year. Many famous and historic cars and models have been revealed during the years at this show. This year looks to be one for history books with a smattering of hyper-things and luxury what-nots.

Looking through the list of cars showing up, there is the 2.2 million dollar Rimac Nevera, which if you’ve been living under a log, is a car putting the HYPER into hypercar. This is the quickest car in the world and the fastest EV with a top speed of 256 miles per hour! This Croatian wonder will only see 150 examples for the world.

Lamborghini is showing up with their exotic and difficult-to-pronounce hybrid Revuelto (no doubt ask five people how to say that and you’ll get five pronunciations and two people saying it with an unauthentic accent). Regardless of the name, this is a car capable of 0-60 in 2.5 seconds and a top speed of 217 miles per hour. If Lamborghini is still willing to crank out V12 engines, even with a battery and electric motor to compliment it, we should be applauding and paying attention.

There will also be offerings from Lotus with the Emira, the Karma Gyesera, and Kaveya, and of course, the four-seater Koenigsegg Gemera with its 1.9 second 0-60 time. The Gemera is one of the wilder cars for sale with 1400 horsepower from an I3 gasoline engine and “Dark Matter” electric motor. They’ll even sell you the hot-vee eight from the Jesko with 2300 horsepower for an extra $400,000 if you’ve got the money to blow.

Rounding out the new cars on display, Genesis will be showing off the new GV60 Magma, there will be the Lamborghini Urus SUV, a new Rolls-Royce Spectre, which is a massive EV, and the Bently GTC S. The more pedestrian (actually attainable cars) on display will be a new Nissan Kicks, Kia K4, Porsche Macan EV, Hyundai Tucson, and Santa Fe, and the Infiniti QX80. It looks like there is something for everyone! The NY Auto Show runs from March 29th to April 7th.
