Manhart has a solution to bring the BMW M240i up to levels exceeding the M2

Don’t spend extra money on an M2 when Manhart Performance can help make your M240i even more powerful

Manhart has a way of taking BMW’s best cars and turning them up to eleven. They’ve modified about everything at this point and when you think about them, it’s usually for an M-car. But they’re no one trick pony, they can also modify your ‘lesser’ BMW models, such as the M240i, which is hardly less of a car than its G87 M2 sibling.

The G42 M240i comes with a 3.0l six-cylinder turbocharged engine and can be turned up a bit with the appropriately named MH 500 II tuning kit from Manhart. This kit takes the M240i up to 503 horsepower and 466 pound-feet of torque by utilizing their MHtronik power box, intake manifold, Manhart downpipe, and a high-flowing 300-cell HJS catalytic converter. The valved exhaust uses a steel Grail rear silencer and matt black Manhart tailpipes. Tuned to use 102 octane, the power figure exceeds that of the G87 M2.

Reliability is not an issue as the tuning allows the xDrive all-wheel drive to safely put power to the ground without fear of ear-shattering noises. But for those willing to bet the farm and go with even more power, Manhart can also set you up with a Stage 2 and Stage 3 kit to take the power up even higher.

Suspension for the MH 500 II has also been modified with Manhart Variant 3 coilovers by KW suspensions. Rebound and compression damping are adjustable with this suspension and alternatively, Manhart lowering springs by H&R are available if you don’t want the coil-over ride quality

Manhart Concave One double-spoke alloy wheels in glossy white are fitted in 20×9” with 245/30 and rear 20×10.5” with 285/25 tires. The wheels aren’t the only exterior indication your M240i is a special car because Manhart also provides some aerodynamic parts. A front spoiler and side skirts are used in conjunction with their rear spoiler and diffuser for a sleek and raw look. All the parts are in black, in typical Manhart fashion. Inside you’ve got a leather and Alcantara steering wheel with black-painted spokes with Manhart carbon fiber shift paddles.

Cheers!
