Ferrari wins in pain at Red Bull’s home
Ferrari wins for the second consecutive time after a succession of disappointing Grand Prix, Charles Leclerc wins after a brilliantly managed race. It is not without fright that Charles Leclerc alerts his team of problems of gas pedal with less than 10 laps of the arrival, finally he arrives at the end and crosses the chequered flag in first. The weekend could have ended with a one-two for the Scuderia, but unfortunately Carlos Sainz, who was about to overtake Max Verstappen, suffered a frightening engine failure. The Scuderia remains satisfied with this victory despite the few points taken from Red Bull.
Mercedes a new podium
Lewis Hamilton recovers the third place after the abandonment of Carlos Sainz, a weekend that ends in an optimistic way after a black Friday and a Saturday similar to the qualifications sprints. We can mention the collision between George Russell and Sergio Perez, the latter will give up afterwards. The German team did not have a pace capable of keeping up with the two behemoths of this early season, but this did not prevent the seven-time world champion from taking his third consecutive podium.
Kick-Haas
Guenter Steinher can smile after the performance of these two drivers who finished respectively 6th (Schumacher), and 8th (Magnussen), fighting with the Mercedes and the Alpine during a good part of the race, but with shifted strategies the Haas drew their pins by concluding their best weekend from an accounting point of view. Mick Schumacher is starting to become a regular on the track, after finishing 9th yesterday, this 6th place today is simply his best performance.
