G-Power has fettled with the already ferocious BMW M4 Convertible (G83) and turned it into something far more extreme. Dubbed the G4M Bi-TURBO Convertible, this drop-top M car sheds its standard 510hp skin and re-emerges with a staggering 700hp, 850Nm, and a top speed stretched to 310 km/h — all while staying fully road-legal under German StVZO regulations.
For more than four decades, the Bavarian tuner has been pushing the limits of BMW M cars, and this latest creation proves once again that there is always headroom for more power, sharper response, and dramatic styling.
Twin-Turbo Inline-Six Reworked
At the core lies BMW’s 3.0-liter S58 twin-turbocharged inline-six — already a benchmark engine in the performance segment. G-Power enhances it with a carbon intake system that improves airflow while reducing intake temperatures, HJS downpipes that lower back pressure for sharper turbocharger response, and a DEEPTONE rear silencer with flap control that balances civility on the highway with ferocity at full throttle.

The exhaust exits through four carbon-sleeved tailpipes measuring 110 and 100 millimeters, adding a visual punch to the soundtrack. The electronic side of the upgrade is equally comprehensive. G-Power’s GP-700 ECU software is tuned to extract every ounce of power while maintaining reliability.
The transmission software has been recalibrated to handle the new torque curve, and the electronic speed limiter has been reworked, allowing the convertible to achieve its 310 km/h potential without restriction.
Carbon Components With Pedestrian Safety Approval
Unlike many tuners who prioritise outright performance at the expense of legality, G-Power made sure every aero component complies with Euro NCAP pedestrian protection standards. The GP Venturi RR carbon hood with functional venting underwent rigorous impact tests at the mandated 285mm height, simulating a human head striking the surface in a real-world scenario.

Alongside this, the GP DYNAMIC carbon kidney grille and GP SHURIKEN carbon apron attachments have also been engineered with the same focus on safety and compliance. These additions not only enhance the car’s aggressive stance but also underline G-Power’s commitment to blending function with regulation-approved design.
Forged Wheels & Handling Upgrades
Visually, the G4M Bi-Turbo Convertible makes its presence known with Hurricane RR forged wheels finished in G-Power’s signature orange with a diamond-cut sheen. Measuring 21 inches, the wheels are wrapped in 255/30R21 tyres up front and 305/25R21 rubber at the rear, providing immense grip while reducing unsprung mass.

Complementing the wheels is a set of height-adjustable coil springs, which not only lowers the stance but also sharpens handling and allows drivers to fine-tune the car’s dynamics to their preference.
Performance Combined With Everyday Usability
What makes the G4M Bi-TURBO Convertible special is not only its supercar-baiting power but also its ability to remain practical for daily use. Despite the monstrous 700hp output, it retains the refinement and versatility of a BMW M4 Convertible.
Drop the roof and the S58’s boosted straight-six soundtrack floods the cabin, offering an experience that blends open-air cruising with hair-raising performance in a way few cars can match.
Available Across The BMW M Line-Up
While this specific project is based on the M4 Convertible (G83), G-Power offers the same Bi-TURBO upgrade package across the M2, M3, and M4 Coupe. This ensures that enthusiasts across the G8x M spectrum can enjoy the same blend of raw power, precise engineering, and road-legal refinement.
