EV LAB Opens the First Electric Mobility Experience Center in Dubai

The UAE has taken a significant step towards a more sustainable future with the launch of EV LAB, the region’s first Electric Mobility Experience Center. This innovative facility, situated in Dubai’s One Central, aims to revolutionise the way consumers discover and experience electric vehicles (EVs) and other sustainable transportation options.

A Hub for Sustainable Transportation

Officially opened by HE Dr Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, the UAE Minister of State for Foreign Trade, EV LAB is more than just a showroom. It’s a collaborative space designed to foster innovation and education within the electric mobility sector. Visitors can explore a diverse range of EVs, including luxury cars, high-performance SUVs, and even micro-mobility solutions like e-scooters. The centre also showcases cutting-edge charging technology from leading companies like eMagine and Fully Charged, along with a display of solar yachts and electric boats.

Retail as a Service: A Unique Customer Experience

EV LAB embraces the concept of Retail as a Service (RaaS). This means customers can go beyond simply browsing; they can test drive, rent, lease, or even purchase a variety of electric vehicles directly within the experience centre. This eliminates the need to visit multiple dealerships and allows for a more streamlined and brand-agnostic experience. The focus extends beyond land-based transportation. The centre features a dedicated configuration room where customers can personalize and customize their dream electric yachts from Silent Yachts and Marian Boats. They can even book factory visits to witness their yachts being built from scratch.
