German pocket-friendly carrier Eurowings is helping travellers avoid the summer heat by offering flights to cooler places across Europe. These “coolcations” are perfect for those who want to enjoy their time off with no hot weather in the equation. In summer 2025, the airline will fly to more than 150 destinations, including mountains, lakes, and breezy coastal towns.
New Flights to Corsica
Eurowings will fly nonstop to Corsica, a mountainous French island in the Mediterranean Sea. The airline will operate flights every Saturday from Cologne/Bonn and Hanover, as well as from Berlin, Düsseldorf, Nuremberg, and Stuttgart. Corsica is also known for hiking, relaxing by the sea, or exploring small towns.
Discover Mostar in Bosnia and Herzegovina
Eurowings offers flights to Mostar, a small city known for its old bridge and mountain views. The airline operates services from Düsseldorf and Stuttgart, up to twice weekly.
Visit Northern Italy: Milan and Verona
The low-cost carrier will fly to Milan from five German cities, and to Verona from Cologne/Bonn and Hamburg. A break to these cities will offer a relaxing company of lakes like Lake Garda, Lake Como, and Lake Maggiore.
More Cool Places: Cornwall and Sweden
The airline will also continue to fly to Cornwall in the UK and Stockholm and Gothenburg in Sweden. These destinations are for those seeking quiet views, fresh air, and cool weather.
