2026 KTM 1390 Super Duke RR Revealed: 350 Limited Edition, Beast Mode & 188bhp

2026 KTM 1390 Super Duke RR revealed: 350-unit limited edition hyper-naked with Beast Mode, 188bhp LC8 V-twin, 11kg lighter chassis, WP Pro suspension & Brembo brakes.

What is the news?

KTM has unleashed its most ferocious naked streetfighter yet: the 2026 1390 Super Duke RR, a 350-unit limited-edition hyper-naked that redefines the possibilities of the 1390 platform, dubbed by KTM “The Beast”. This 1390 Duke RR edition is limited to only 350 units worldwide, packing MotoGP-derived hardware for riders looking for inhibited hypernaked with no compromise.

What is the 2026 KTM 1390 Super Duke RR?

The 2026 KTM 1390 Super Duke RR is the pinnacle of KTM’s naked lineup, limited to a global run of 350 numbered units, making it one of the rarest production hyper-nakeds ever. The 1390 Super Duke  RR evolves on the standard 1390 Super Duke platform, which, mind you, is an extremely potent platform to begin with.

The 1390 Super Duke RR prioritises weight reduction, premium MotoGP-derived track-focused hardware, forged Marchesini wheels, tank-mounted winglets for aerodynamic downforce and a titanium Akrapovič slip-on exhaust.

What powers the KTM 1390 Super Duke RR, and what are its performance specs?

At its core sits a 1,350cc LC8 V-twin engine with CAMSHIFT variable valve timing setup powering the KTM 1390 Super Duke RR.  The V-Twins make 188 hp at 10,000 rpm and a peak torque of 145 N · m from 8,000 rpm. With 189 kg of dry weight, the inclusion of RR upgrades the package now delivers a 1:1 power-to-weight ratio, transforming it into a track weapon while remaining street legal.

What suspension and braking upgrades make the RR a track monster?

The KTM 1390 Super Duke RR features a stiffer chromoly steel frame with thicker-walled tubes for enhanced rigidity. Suspended by the tubular frame is a fully adjustable WP Pro suspension component derived from MotoGP and KTM’s rally programs. A 48mm closed-cartridge fork handles suspension duties up front, offering preload, compression, and rebound adjustability along with 190mm of travel, while the rear gets a fully adjustable shock with preload, rebound, and high-/low-speed compression damping, with 200mm of travel.

The braking duties are handled by Brembo Hypure callipers with 320mm discs at the front and 240mm at the rear with Stylema-style pistons for fade-free stopping power, backed by cornering ABS.

What is Beast Mode, and how does the electronics suite elevate the RR?

Beast Mode is the RR’s headline electronic party trick: a no-holds-barred setting that shuts off all interventions to the minimum – no traction control, wheelie mitigation, or slide aids, just raw speed. The electronic suite further includes six ride modes (Street, Rain, Sport, Track, Racer, Beast), fully customizable cruise control, blind-spot detection, and semi-active suspension mapping.

A new 8.8-inch TFT touchscreen with smart connectivity via KTM My Ride app, which offers over-the-air updates and ride analysis.

How does the design of the exclusive 350-unit RR edition stand out?

The KTM 1390 Super Duke RR looks to double down on the already aggressive 1390 Super Duke, now featuring Moto GP-inspired winglets on the tank generating downforce, carbon fibre accents, a revised LED headlight cluster, and unique orange/black/white graphics with individual unit numbering on the triple clamp, making it stand out amidst the Duke family of naked streetfighters.
