Chery unveiled the 2024 TIGGO 8 Pro Max in the UAE

2023 saw a significant group of Chinese carmakers either make their way into the UAE or already achieve significant milestones within this region. Chery is another Chinese carmaker that arrived in the UAE with big dreams and it aims to achieve some of them with the launch of the 2024 TIGGO8 Pro Max SUV.

Chery invited a handful of media journalists including The Cornea Impression to the Dubai Autodrome where it unveiled its all-new 2024 TIGGO8 Pro Max midsize SUV. The TIGGO8 Pro Max is set to be available in the United Arab Emirates in early 2024 and it will be powered by a 2.0-litre TGDI engine which was awarded the title of “China Best Ten Engine”. The engine can produce 254hp while providing an ultra-low fuel consumption of 7.39L per 100km. Paired with a 7DCT transmission, the TIGGO8 Pro Max can do the 0-100kph sprint in 7 seconds.

Chery further equipped the TIGOO8 Pro Max with the brand’s All Scene 4WD System – offering 6 driving modes, including economical, ordinary, sports, mud, desert, and snow. Safety is also kept on high priority as the SUV gets an ADAS system integrating 16 kinds of intelligent driving assistance functions, including adaptive cruise control (ACC), autonomous emergency braking (AEB), and lane-keeping assistance.

Inside, the passengers enjoy premium interiors and a Sony sound system with 10 speakers, a curved infotainment screen spanning 24.6inches of digital real estate and a Queen’s passenger seat which benefits the front passenger with seat ventilation and an ottoman function for a relaxed drive experience. The driver can make use of the 540-degree HD surround camera system, a vibrant Heads Up Display (HUD) and smartphone connectivity on the infotainment system.

Furthermore, Chery secured the first-place position in the 2023 China Initial Quality Study (IQS) conducted by J.D. Power in August and Chery proudly claimed the top spot among Chinese brands.

Chery will launch the 2024 TIGGO8 Pro Max in early 2024 with expected prices hovering around AED 90,000 to AED 120,000.
