This Year’s ‘Icons Of Porsche’ Promises To Be The Best Yet

The tickets are free of charge.

For the uninitiated, Porsche turned 75 this year. And that, obviously, calls for celebrations in all possible forms. Among them is a platform which claims the title of “the largest car festival in the Middle East”. It’s something that the German carmaker calls ‘Icons of Porsche’. The Dubai Design District will host the event’s third edition this year. Porsche has also given it a theme – Dream In Full Colour.

Last year, the ‘Icons of Porsche’ witnessed a footfall of 15,000 people. This year’s event, scheduled for November 25-26, is expected to break that record. Why? Well, Porsche has lined up one world premiere, the largest showcase of classic Porsches and a supercar display headed by the Mission X hypercar. Plus, more celebrities, race drivers and entertainment activities will likely pull larger crowds.

To delve deeper, the new Panamera will make its world premiere at ‘Icons of Porsche’. While that will be the highlight for auto-journos and enthusiasts alike, artwork installations from renowned artists, live music from local musicians, popular food and beverage vendors, and a special Porsche merchandise section for the whole family will give visitors all more reasons to attend this event every single time.
