Vacheron Constantin appoints Laurent Perves as its new CEO

He succeeds Louis Ferla, with whom he has worked closely for the past eight years.

Vacheron Constantin (VC) appoints Laurent Perves as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective January 1, 2025. He is presently VC’s Chief Commercial Officer.

VC, part of the Richemont Group, is based in Geneva, Switzerland. Founded in 1755, it is the oldest continuous watchmaker in existence. Together with Audemars Piguet and Patek Philippe, it is part of the Holy Trinity.

“Laurent, who brings over 20 years industry experience to the role, has played an important part in positioning Vacheron Constantin as a leader in Haute Horlogerie and in its commercial success since joining the Maison in 2016, first as Chief Marketing Officer, and as Chief Commercial Officer since 2021.” – Vacheron Constantin.

Our Thoughts

VC is no “ordinary” watch brand. As the oldest continuous watchmaker, they have a heritage that is second to none. In its 269 years of history, they have created some of the most gorgeous, complicated, and spectacular timepieces. These include (but not limited to) the Packard (1919), the Boisrouvray (1948), the King Fouad (1929), the King Farouk (1935), Kallista (1979), Tour de l’lle (2005), 57260 (2015), and Berkley Grand Complication (2024). In addition, their watches are among the most beautiful in the world. Their movement finishing is considered second to none.

VC celebrates its 270th birthday in 2025. Word on the street is they will unveil spectacular watches to celebrate this milestone birthday.

Mr. Perves has a huge responsibility on his shoulders as VC’s new CEO. With his stellar career in luxury goods and watchmaking, and successful track record at VC, he is most suited for this leadership role.

From all of us at The Cornea Impression, we wish him all the best as the new CEO of VC.

Our recent coverage of VC includes the new Patrimony self-winding, and reopening of their boutique in Mall of the Emirates.
