Jaeger-LeCoultre appoints Jérôme Lambert as its new CEO

A Richemont Group veteran, this is Mr. Lambert’s second stint as Jaeger-LeCoultre’s CEO.

Jaeger-LeCoultre (JLC) appoints Jérôme Lambert as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) effective January 1, 2025. He is presently the Richemont Group’s Chief Operating Officer.

JLC, part of the Richemont Group, is based in the Vallée de Joux in Switzerland and is known as the The Watchmaker of Watchmakers™.

Mr. Lambert’s illustrious watchmaking career includes:

  • Joined JLC in 1996 as Financial Controller. He was appointed Chief Financial Officer three years later.
  • Appointed CEO of JLC in 2002, a position he held until June 2013.
  • Thereafter, he served as CEO of Montblanc, a position held until March 2017.
  • Served as Chairman of A. Lange & Söhne’s since 2009, and CEO for two years.
  • Appointed Head of Operations of Richemont Group in April 2017. He was “responsible for central and regional services and all Maisons other than Jewellery and Specialist Watchmakers. In November 2017, Specialist Watchmakers Maisons were added to his scope, and he was named Group Operations Officer.”
  • Served as CEO of Richemont Group from September 2018 until May 2024.
  • Presently Chief Operating Officer of Richemont Group since June 2024.

Our Thoughts

Mr. Lambert is both a JLC and a Richemont Group veteran, renowned for his exemplary leadership and success. His prior experience at JLC combined with his in-depth knowledge and understanding of the watchmaking industry, makes him most suitable to lead JLC to even greater heights.
