Triumph Rocket 3 “Evil Knievel” Edition a Tribute to the stunt maestro

A special "Evil Knievel" inspired by Triumph Rocket 3, limited to only 500 units for the globe, A symbol of daredevil showmanship synonymous with outrageous yet awe-inspiring shenanigans from the 60's and 70's.

Triumph Motorcycles unveiled a special limited edition version of the Triumph Rocket 3 R and Rocket 3 GT, honouring the legacy of the famed partnership between the brand and the legendary Motorcyclist Evil Knievel (Robert Craig Knievel). The brand has declared only 500 of these special edition motorcycles will ever be produced, bringing home the fact of its exclusivity and prestige.

Robert Craig Knievel unanimously known as Evel Knievel made his name in the mid-1960s till the late 70s for his extravagant and preposterous stunts and showmanship on a motorcycle such as jumping over a queue of cars or crossing over a canyon. More often than not his preferred choice of wheels was Triumph’s Bonneville for his outlandish adventures.

Most Notable stands the Triumph T120 Bonneville which featured his attempt at the longest jump of his career, rising to 141 feet at the Caesars Palace fountains. Even during the twilight of his bruised but distinguished career, Evel Knievel has been seen onboard the Triumph motorcycle for his last few public appearances.

Safe to say the British motorcycle manufacturer and the American daredevil shared a prolonged and distinguished history together; soaring over cars, canyons and fountains while the jam-packed sell-out crowds, stood witness to such expeditions. Now Triumph wants to honor that partnership and allow the collectors and fans across the world to celebrate one of the pioneers of motorcycle stuntmanship.

The Triumph Rocket 3 “Evel Knieval” edition

The Triumph Rocket 3 “Evel Knieval” comes in two different variants namely R and GT, both variants offer to distinguish riding ergonomics, catering to varied needs of motorcycling, all while retaining the infamous 2,458cc 3-cylinder engine – the largest capacity engine ever put on a production motorcycle.

Both the Rocket R and GT, get the Evel Knievel treatment, showcasing the iconic blue stripe laden with stars on the chromed-out fuel tank; showcasing the jumpsuit livery of the daredevil himself which became synonymous not only with Evel himself but across a varied range of pop culture and films chooses to depict a Motorcycle stuntman downing the same white and blue striped suit.

Other notable features are the gold Evel Knievel signature embroidered on the leather seat, white accents with contrasting sapphire black finished body panels such as the flyscreen, headlight bowl, mudguards, side panels, and rear bodywork and a bespoke Evel Knievel branded start-up animation every time the rider fires up the 2,458 cc DOHC triple.

Every owner will acquire an exclusive, collector’s edition book, Written by renowned author and Knievel expert Stuart Barker authorised by Triumph, recounting the incredible story of Evel Knievel and his connection with the brand.

Other notable features are standard equipment from the regular Rocket 3 such as cornering ABS, adjustable Suspension, Traction control, hill start assist, cruise control and three different riding modes: Rain, Sports & Road. 

The said 500 units will be equally divided among the two variants-which means 250 units of the Rocket R and 250 units of the Rocket 3 GT. Deliveries shall soon commence as early as March 2025 for the fortunate 500 owners.
