The pocket rocket got some new upgrades.
The 2024 KTM Duke is here, and it’s better than before, Nay, it is better and faster than before – the Duke 390 has been a benchmark for performance in the middleweight class. The 2024 model is nothing short of that, KTM has upped the ante for the Duke 390 – with more power and a better chassis to handle that power.
The KTM Duke 390 for the 2024 model year has been launched for the Indian and global markets – and comes with a slew of upgrades over the outgoing model.
So, What’s new?
Apart from the name, everything is new from the chassis to the overall design haul to an upgraded engine.
Engine
Now, the Duke 390 produces 45hp and 39Nm of torque from an upgraded with an increase in cubic capacity from 373cc to 399cc Liquid-cooled engine. This helps the increase in power from the previous generation but more importantly, the new engine is lighter than the previous one.

The Corner Rocket
‘’The Corner Rocket’’, Not my word that’s what KTM says on their website – for that statement to be true –The bike must come equipped with serious chassis upgrades and tools to carve corners and be a Corner Rocket KTM intends it to be. KTM Duke 390 now gets a new steel trellis frame and a brand-new aluminum subframe – off-center adjustable WP rear mono shock supported by an aluminum banana swingarm and newly WP-designed APEX OC USD Front forks with adjustable compression and rebound settings.
320 mm 4 pistons front disc and 240mm rear disc pads are tasked with the duty of stopping this middleweight street fighter with utmost precision and confidence.

All New Design Language
Visually the Gen 3 KTM Duke 390 is distinctively different from the outgoing model but also stays very true to that distinct KTM design language gets a newly designed front fender element carrying quite a resemblance to the 1290 Super Duke – the ultimate form of a KTM one can buy, apart from their RC16 the Moto Contender.
Wrapped around those plastic shrouds is the new LED Headlight that looks more aggressive than before. Gone is the hideous exhaust extending from the side and is replaced by a much neater-looking underbelly exhaust that stitches the whole design together.
GEN 3 Duke 390 comes with two color options Electronic Orange Metallic and Atlantic Blue. The price starts from 3.10.000/- ex-showroom.

India’s Odysse Electric Vehicles has confirmed that its Vader motorbike has been certified by the International Centre for Automotive Technology (ICAT), including battery testing per AIS-156 norms. As a result, the motorbike will hit the roads in December 2023. The deliveries are scheduled to commence on December 1.
The Odysse Vader packs an IP67-certified 3kW (4hp) electric motor offering a top speed of 85kmph. The battery, which can be replenished fully in 4 hours, is efficient enough to deliver a range of 125km on a single charge. Odysse is offering the Vader in five colours – Fiery Red, Venom Green, Misty Grey, Midnight Blue and Glossy Black. Pre-bookings are open, with the minimum token amount set at INR 999.
