What is the new Panerai Luminor Marina PAM01707?
The Luminor Marina PAM01707 combines Panerai’s 1960s visual language with present-day advanced materials. Its strong case, the crown protective bridge and sandwich dial with luminescent numerals are unmistakable vintage design features of the brand. What are its dial features?

Black Matte sandwich dial. Hands, Arabic numerals and baton-shaped hour-markers are coated with warm beige Super-LumiNova (green emission).

What are its case and strap features?

Its case and bezel are made from Carbotech, measuring 44 mm (diameter) and 14.5 mm (thickness). Dial side features a sapphire crystal. The screw-down closed caseback is made from DLC coated titanium. Water resistant up to 30 bar or approximately 300 metres.
The watch comes with a vintage-inspired brown calf leather strap with beige stitching. It is fitted with a DLC coated trapezoidal pin buckle. An additional black rubber strap is also provided. A screwdriver is provided, enabling the wearer to swap straps and the buckle.

What are its movement features?
It is powered by calibre P.9010, an automatic movement that drives the central hours and minutes and small seconds with a hacking or stop-seconds function. It measures 13 ¾ lignes (approximately 29 mm) diameter * 6 mm (thickness), comprises 200 parts and 31 jewels, beats at a modern frequency of 4 Hz or 28,800 vph and delivers a power reserve of 3-days via 2 “series-connected barrels.” The movement features a Glucydur® balance, an Incabloc® anti-shock device and a bidirectional automatic winding rotor.
Winding and time-setting is done via the crown at 3 o’clock. A “quick time-change mechanism” allows the wearer to adjust the hour hand forward and backward in 1-hour increments “without affecting the minute hand or interrupting the movement.”
