After completing the onboarding process for Fiji Airways earlier this year, the oneworld alliance has welcomed another airline. The Texas-headquartered airline alliance has announced the inclusion of Oman Air as its newest full member airline. As a result, the alliance’s presence in the Middle East grows stronger.
Effective July 1, 2025, oneworld customers will have access to the extended list of destinations that the flag carrier of the Sultanate of Oman offers. The list will also include Oman Air’s new nonstop service between Muscat and Amsterdam.
As is the norm with any new full member airline of the alliance, Oman Air will provide oneworld Emerald, Sapphire, and Ruby customers with benefits such as earning and redeeming frequent flyer miles, racking up status points, priority check-in and boarding, and lounge access. On the other hand, top-tier customers of Oman Air can access oneworld priority benefits, including entry and services of about 700 airport lounges worldwide.
Oman Air currently serves 42 destinations across 22 countries and territories globally. On long-haul routes, it offers passengers a choice of three cabins, including the Business Studio with private suites.
