German tuning company NOVITEC is renowned the world over for injecting enhanced performance into existing high-performance cars. NOVITEC’s latest project involves the creation of a limited-edition of Ferrari’s 296 GTS open-top sports car called the NOVITEC 296 GTS N-LARGO. The NOVITEC N-LARGO concept is also available for the fixed-roof variant of this Ferrari model series, the 296 GTB.
Essentially, the N-LARGO kit straps a wider body kit to the 296 GTS with new bumpers, front fender vents, a wedge-shaped rear vent and a pronounced spoiler. Elements like the diffuser, spoiler, trunk lid and more can be opted in carbon fibre finish. Unique to this limited-edition Ferrari 296 GTS N-LARGO are NOVITEC NF11 NL high-tech wheels, produced by Vossen specifically for this car. The kit equips 21-inch wheels at the front and 22-inch wheels on the rear axle.
NOVITEC also upgrades the twin-turbo V6 combustion engine’s power output to 868hp, up from the standard 819hp. An all-new exhaust system, available with or without flap regulation, gets installed in the N-LARGO kit with sports metal catalysts and new stainless steel tailpipes. Also offered is a sporty suspension setup.
