Athletic shoes, apparel, and sports equipment manufacturer, Nike has launched the all-new new Vomero 18 running shoes with a 10-day takeover of Kite Beach from 25 April to 4 May, 2025. This follows the official launch held at last week’s Burj Khalifa. Runners across the UAE joined the ‘10DAY / 10K’ challenge – daily runs led by Nike ambassadors and Uncommon Run Club – starting from the Vomero Clubhouse at Point Zero. This gave the participants the opportunity to test the max-cushion Vomero 18 and enjoy surprise experiences along the way.
For those who were looking for a bigger challenge, Nike and Strava invited runners to log as many 10ks as possible over 10 days on the Point Zero route. Top performers on the leaderboard won exclusive rewards, including a trip and entry to the Copenhagen Half Marathon.
Runners, their cheering squads and visitors were invited to the Vomero Clubhouse at Point Zero who enjoyed drinks from Feels café and gained expert insights on the Vomero 18 – Nike’s most cushioned shoe yet, featuring its tallest-ever stack height and shaped by feedback from women athletes.
