New Destination To Join Akasa Air’s Network In April

The airline will operate a daily flight to Hyderabad with a stopover in Delhi.

Akasa Air, one of India’s youngest airlines, has announced the name of its 28th destination. The low-cost carrier will begin operating daily flights to Darbhanga, Bihar, from Hyderabad with a stopover in Delhi. Those travelling from Telangana’s capital to Darbhanga, or vice-versa, will not have to step out of the aircraft when it lands in India’s capital. The new destination, which joins the airline’s network on April 4, 2025, will be Akasa Air’s entry into Bihar.

The route begins at 06:00, when flight QP 1405 departs Hyderabad. It will land in Delhi at 08:20 and, after a 40-minute halt, leave for Darbhanga at 09:00. The scheduled arrival time at Darbhanga is 10:55. The same aircraft then takes flight number QP 1406, which will begin its first sector’s journey at 11:30 and concludes it at Delhi at 13:25. The Delhi-Hyderabad route starts and ends at 14:20 and 16:40, respectively.

Tickets for the newly announced route can be booked via the airline’s official website, mobile application and through travel agents.
