And that’s not all that was unveiled at the IAA Mobility 2025 by Mercedes-Benz.

New Mercedes-Benz CLA Hybrid and CLA Shooting Brake

The German carmaker also expanded its newly launched CLA model’s line-up – now offering a new powertrain and a new body style. The former introduces a hybrid setup to the new revamped CLA to broaden the appeal of the CLA range while the latter debuts Mercedes-Benz’s first all-electric shooting brake – the Mercedes-Benz CLA Shooting Brake EV. Mercedes hasn’t divulged much about the details of either but expect it to be released by the end of this year.

Mercedes-Benz Concept AMG GT XX

The showstopper for Mercedes-Benz at the IAA Mobility 2025 was its record-breaking Concept AMG GT XX. This concept recently broke as many as 25 endurance records including the longest distance driven ever by an EV in 24 hours. Mercedes built the Concept AMG GT XX as a technological demonstration for its AMG.EA architecture that will enter AMG production cars from next year.

Mercedes-Benz VLE electric prototype

Another EV-oriented showcase by the tri-star brand was the special preview of the all-new all-electric VLE prototype. With a seating for eight and a blend of a luxury limousine and a multipurpose van, Mercedes-Benz aims to foray into the premium private user segment or high-end mobility services with the new all-electric VLE prototype.

Mercedes-Benz also showcased its autonomous driving technologies.
