Lotus Emira Refreshed With V6 SE & Turbo Variants For UAE & Bahrain

Lotus has updated its mid-engined Emira sports car for 2025, introducing the new V6 SE and Turbo models for the UAE and Bahrain. The refreshed line-up, now available to order through Adamas Motor Group, receives mechanical upgrades, additional colour options, and revised specifications, with first customer deliveries scheduled for early 2026.

Emira V6 SE

The Emira V6 SE is powered by a 3.5-litre supercharged V6 that produces 400hp. Buyers can choose between a six-speed manual gearbox with a limited-slip differential or an automatic transmission. The manual now features a new compression mount for improved precision in gear changes. With this set-up, the car accelerates from zero to 100km/h in 4.3 seconds and reaches a top speed of 290km/h.

Revised suspension tuning includes recalibrated dampers and changes to wheel alignment, giving sharper steering response while maintaining comfort. Two chassis settings are offered: Tour for daily driving and Sport for a firmer, more track-focused experience. Hydraulic steering remains standard, providing direct road feedback.

The V6 SE carries distinct visual cues such as forged 20-inch alloy wheels, red AP Racing calipers with 370mm front and 350mm rear discs, extended Black Pack detailing, and V6 SE badging. Inside, Alcantara upholstery and sport pedals are standard, with fifteen exterior colours, seven interior finishes, four caliper shades and eight wheel designs available for personalisation.

Technical Revisions Across the Range

All 2025 Emira models gain updates aimed at better heat management and durability. Cooling efficiency has been improved by rerouting the coolant lines to the transmission oil cooler and main radiator, reducing weight and improving performance. The engine thermostat now kicks in at 75°C instead of 65°C, optimising performance in high ambient temperatures.

The dual-clutch transmission has been recalibrated for quicker, smoother shifts, while the air conditioning system has been refined for more consistent cabin cooling in hot conditions. Lastly, two new paint finishes, Eos Green and Purple Haze metallic, expand the colour choices.

Emira Turbo and Turbo SE

The Emira Turbo introduces the AMG-sourced 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine to the line-up. It develops 360hp and is paired with an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission. It accelerates from 0 to 100km/h in 4.4 seconds and achieves a top speed of 275km/h. The Turbo SE version increases power to 400hp, bringing the acceleration time down to 4.0 seconds and raising top speed to 291km/h.

Both models use double wishbone suspension, electro-hydraulic steering, and an integrated rear spoiler for stability. AP Racing brakes with 370mm discs at the front and 350mm discs at the rear ensure stopping power matches performance.

Despite their focus on performance, both Turbo models feature a high level of standard equipment, including twelve-way adjustable memory seats, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and a 190-watt audio system. Customers can further enhance comfort and safety with optional packages such as the Convenience Pack and Extended Co-Driver Pack.

Racing Line Pack

For customers seeking more visual distinction, the Racing Line Pack is available on the V6 SE and Turbo SE. It adds lower body pinstripes in accent colours, including yellow, red, or silver, matched with brake calipers and mirror caps. Gloss black alloy wheels, Racing Line badges, and interior stitching in the same accent colour complete the package.

Safety & Driver Assistance

Safety technology is comprehensive across the range. Standard equipment includes Autonomous Emergency Braking, Lane Departure Warning, Blind Spot Monitoring, Traffic Sign Recognition, and Fatigue Detection. The Extended Co-Driver Pack adds Adaptive Cruise Control on automatic models, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Door Opening Warning, and High Beam Assist. Drivers can adjust the level of assistance through the car’s menu system.

Manufactured In England

The Emira continues to be built at the Lotus facility in Hethel, Norfolk, where the brand has produced sports cars since 1966. Production combines traditional hand-built methods with modern assembly processes.
