Poland’s flag carrier, LOT Polish Airlines, has decided to launch direct flights between Warsaw, its home hub, and Rovaniemi, widely considered the “hometown of Santa Claus.” The inaugural service is scheduled for November 27, 2025, and the airline will operate this route twice weekly on Thursdays and Sundays.
LOT Polish Airlines’ flight number LO477 will depart from the Polish capital at 11:35, while the return leg, LO478, will start its journey at 16:50. According to the airline, each sector should have a flight time of 2 hours and 45 minutes. This route will remain operational until February 1, 2026.
Once live, the Warsaw-Rovaniemi route will make LOT Polish Airlines the first and only carrier in central and western Europe to offer a nonstop service to the capital of Finnish Lapland. Tickets have gone on sale and are available across all LOT Polish Airlines channels, including the website, Contact Center, and Travel offices.
