If you’re a petrolhead or have young racers in the family, Legoland Dubai has just waved the green flag on something truly exciting — Build The Thrill. Running from 5th April to 31st May 2025, this exclusive Formula 1 and Lego-themed experience combines the thrill of motorsports with creative, interactive fun for families.
For the first time in the region, a thrilling collaboration between Lego and Formula 1 transforms the Legoland Dubai Theme Park and Legoland Hotel into a full-throttle playground. Taking place daily in April and on weekends throughout May, Build The Thrill is designed to ignite imaginations and fuel friendly competition with a Grand Prix twist. Children can spin the wheel to join either Team Red or Team Blue and receive their official Pit Pass — a ticket to a day filled with adrenaline-charged challenges and creative construction.
Build, Race & Win At Legoland Dubai!
Kids and families can build their own Lego race cars and launch them down ramps in a quest to clock the fastest times. Need high-performance tips? Playmakers are on hand with expert tips on speed, handling, and fine-tuning builds for race-day domination.
With time trials, knockout tournaments, and surprise giveaways throughout the day, young racers can compete for the prestigious title, ‘Build the Thrill Champion.’ Meanwhile, a three-times-a-day Pit Party sees Team Red and Team Blue go head-to-head in fun-filled challenges that will have kids cheering from the sidelines or taking centre stage.
Every young winner deserves their moment in the spotlight. The Factory Stage turns into a Grand Podium where children can celebrate their racing victories with Lego trophies, racing helmets, and props — the perfect place for an Instagram-worthy family photo.
More Than Just Racing
The Hall of Fame in Lego City serves as a showcase for the most innovative race car designs. Kids can proudly name their creations and display them for the world to see, with surprise prizes awarded to standout builds. For any budding designer, this is the ultimate moment of glory.
The excitement isn’t just on the track. Miniland hosts a themed scavenger hunt and features exclusive Lego car model displays, keeping the motorsport magic alive through puzzles and discovery. And with over 40 rides and attractions around the park, Build The Thrill is just one part of a full day of family adventure.
Every evening at 7:30 PM, Legoland Dubai holds a special raffle where guests can win a Lego set worth AED 200. Participants can collect their tickets from the Pit Crew during the day and join the evening draw — an exciting way to wrap up the day’s adventures.
The Grand Prix magic continues just steps away at Legoland Hotel. Families staying overnight can enjoy themed dance parties, exclusive pit lane celebrations, and the Build the Thrill Creative Workshop. Here, young engineers can work with Legoland’s Master Model Builders to craft custom Lego trophies.

What’s a day at the track without refuelling? Themed snacks like the creamy Circuit Shake and the cheeky Tyre Doughnut can be enjoyed at Track Snacks or Bricks Family Restaurant.
