Kia launches the new Sportage L in the Middle East

September 2024 witnessed Kia Middle East and Africa launch the new Sportage L in the region. The new Kia Sportage L's launch was accompanied by an exclusive drive event in Salalah, Oman. The new Kia Sportage L is a long-wheelbase derivative of the longstanding Sportage banner spanning over 30 years in Kia’s stable. Kia claims the new Sportage L features a longer body and best-in-class wheelbase to offer superior interior space and up to 1,829 litres of luggage capacity with the second-row seats folded. A dual 12.3-inch panoramic screen, 64-colour mood lighting, and Surround View Monitor are some modern-day creature comforts offered with the new Sportage L. Powertrain options comprise a 197hp 1.5-litre turbo engine and a 233hp 2.0-litre turbo engine, both only getting paired to an 8-speed automatic transmission.
