The newest aircraft in Emirates’ arsenal, the Airbus A350, will soon ferry passengers on two routes. Starting January 8, 2025, the twin-engined widebody will fly travellers to Kuwait and Bahrain from the airline’s Dubai hub.
The Dubai-Kuwait service goes live first. The outbound flight – EK853 – will depart at 01:25 and land at 02:15. The return leg – EK854 – will start and conclude its journey at 03:40 and 06:25, respectively.
Emirates runs three daily flights between Dubai and Bahrain. Two of them – EK837/838 and EK839/840 – will be served on the Airbus A350. Flight EK837 will depart from Dubai and land in Bahrain at 08:20 and 08:40, respectively. The return service – EK838 – will leave the Kingdom at 10:00 and arrive in Dubai at 12:15. The second to and fro service begins with EK839, which starts and concludes its scheduled journey at 16:00 and 16:20, respectively. Those travelling in the opposite direction will board flight EK840, which departs from Bahrain at 17:45 and arrives in Dubai at 20:00. All times mentioned are local.
The aircraft in the equation features a three-class configuration, totalling 312 seats. The count comprises 32 new-gen Business Class lie-flat seats in a 1-2-1 layout, 21 seats in a 2-3-2 configuration in Premium Economy and 259 seats in Economy in a 3-3-3 arrangement. Wider aisles, high ceilings, faster Wi-Fi, and the latest-generation inflight entertainment system are also among the highlights.
