After a service pause due to regional unrest, Emirates has confirmed it will resume services to Beirut and Baghdad, the capitals of Lebanon and Iraq, respectively, from February 1, 2025. A Boeing 777-300ER, featuring a three-class configuration, will ferry passengers to both capitals daily from Dubai, UAE.
The Dubai-Beirut route will be served on flights EK953 and EK954. The former will depart from Dubai and land in the Lebanese capital at 11:30 and 14:00, respectively. Those travelling the other way will board the latter flight, which starts its journey at 15:30 and concludes at 21:20. The airline has scheduled a second daily service between the two cities starting April 1, 2025. Flight EK957 will take off from Dubai at 07:30 and arrive in Beirut at 10:30. The return leg, EK958, begins and ends its journey at 12:05 and 16:55, respectively.
To Baghdad, the flight timings will vary depending on the day of the week. On Sundays, Mondays and Wednesdays, EK941 will leave Dubai at 08:05 and land in the Iraqi capital at 09:50. The return journey aboard EK942 will start and conclude at 11:25 and 14:35, respectively. The remaining four days of the week will have Emirates flights EK943 and EK944. The former will depart from Dubai at 13:00 and arrive in Baghdad at 14:25. Those travelling in the opposite direction will board the latter service, which will start at 15:55 and reach its destination at 19:10. All times mentioned are local.
