What is Milano Watch Week’s new collaboration with Dubai Watch Week?
Milano Watch Week has collaborated with Dubai Watch Week to promote the exchange of both their respective audiences. Founded in 2024, Milano Watch Week is now in its third edition. Founded by UAE-based retailer Ahmed Seddiqi as a biennial event, Dubai Watch Week hosted its 7th edition last year.
Both these events were founded with a regional focus, keeping the watch collector community in mind. They are less about being trade fairs and more about fostering a sense of camaraderie among fellow collectors, mainstream and independent watch brands, and retailers, among others. They are anything but regional; visitors travel from across the world to attend them. I witnessed this firsthand during Dubai Watch Week last year.

What is the new Off the Clock format?
This collaboration aims to unite the communities of both events, which are “geographically distant but united by the same passion and enthusiasm for horology.” Milano Watch Week will introduce a concept called Off the Clock. Dubai Watch Week’s Off the Clock format will highlight a new “networking and social engagement format” honouring the UAE-based event and allowing guests of both geographies to integrate through “curated conversations and networking.”
What do we think?
For visitors attending Milano Watch Week, including those flying in from halfway across the world, the two days at Palazzo Mezzanotte in Piazza Affari (pictured in header image) promise to be exciting in one of the great cities in the world. The collaboration is a work in progress; depending on how it goes, the organisers will develop newer experiences for future editions.
