Building on their previous success of using 72-75% post-consumer recycled (PCR) materials, Belkin has now transitioned over 359 products and replaced a significant amount of virgin plastic (432 metric tons) with PCR alternatives. This year, several of their most popular chargers and cables will be updated with housing made from 85-90% PCR, accompanied by Global Recycling Standard certification and plastic-free packaging. This initiative is estimated to reduce CO2 emissions associated with product materials significantly. The first products to receive this eco-friendly upgrade include familiar favourites like the 45W and 65W Dual USB-C Wall Chargers, GaN wall chargers with interchangeable tips (70W and 100W), 15W Wireless Charger with Qi2, and various charging cables.
