All we want from life is this RUF-branded Tag Heuer Carrera

Presenting the RUF x Bamford x Highsnobiety – TAG Heuer Carrera

RUF is one of the most loved restomod brands in the world. The German firm has been working in tandem with Porsche for nearly a decade now and has given us automotive wonders like the SCR, BTR and, of course, the CTR “Yellowbird.”

Now, RUF has collaborated with not one, not two but four different companies to give us a watch that’s got to get you drooling – meet the RUF x Bamford x Highsnobiety – TAG Heuer Carrera.

Before we talk about the watch, here’s some background: this watch is actually part of a big collab between streetwear media site Highsnobiety and RUF which ranges from apparel, caps, coffee mugs, model cars and to this very beautiful watch.

Bamford Watch Department and Highsnobiety have gelled in RUF’s branding quite brilliantly with this Tag Heuer Carrera with the watch showcasing a perfect blend of two colours so often seen on RUF cars – green and yellow.

The watch has a green dial featuring RUF and Highsnobiety logos in yellow along with some yellow accents and green subdials with yellow sub-dial hands. What’s more, you get between two straps: a green Correa Nato strap that comes with RUF’s logo and yellow stitch and a green Saffiano Verde leather strap which also features yellow stitching but does away with the RUF logo.

It inherits the Caliber Heuer 02’s movement and gets 80 hours of power reserve.

The RUF x Bamford x Highsnobiety – TAG Heuer Carrera is 42mm-wide and 14.4mm-thick and it offers a 100 metres of water resistance just like the standard Tag Heuer Carrera models.

The box of the watch is quite beautiful to look at with it being made from green frosted transparent acrylic and complemented with a green leather insert and watch cushion.

Only 100 RUF x Bamford x Highsnobiety – TAG Heuer Carrera watches will be made with each one costing $7,785.
